About Innovation Insights

Innovation Insights is a boutique consulting firm specialized in strategic communications and government affairs. Based in Geneva, it was founded in 2010 by Jennifer Brant.

Innovation Insights works to inform and shape public policy in critical areas like trade and innovation policy. Our goal is to create new opportunities for our clients, which range from industry groups to UN agencies, and from NGOs to multinationals.

We focus on public policy. Our expertise centers on supporting well-crafted, evidence-based, forward-thinking policies that have positive impact on societies over the long term. We are privileged to participate, with our clients, in policymaking processes.

WHAT WE DO

Innovation Insights delivers high quality analysis and strategic advice, together with research, reports, and other products that can be used to inform policymaking. Our practice focuses on trade, innovation and intellectual property, healthcare, and economic development. We deliver law firm-quality work with more agility and efficiency.

We love running advocacy campaigns, and we often create unusual partnerships to achieve goals. We also offer complementary services that support our policy advisory services, such as graphic design and the development of videos.

We are committed to integrity, intellectual honesty, creativity, and nuance in all our work. We consistently integrate a gender lens into our projects.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Since 2010, we have had the pleasure of working for many inspiring and impactful organizations. We do not work with organizations with goals that we consider counterproductive to creating healthy, inclusive societies and advancing socio-economic development.

During the past decade we have done projects for:

  • Multinational companies and SMEs including Qualcomm, Innoventures, Millipore Sigma, GE, Novartis, Ericsson, Shiok Meats, J&J, Microsoft, P&G, Corning, Cultiv, Actogenix, Pfizer, Global Yeast, Diffusion Capital Partners, and Novo Nordisk;
  • Inter-governmental organizations including WIPO, WHO, and the WTO;
  • Global and regional industry groups such as IP Europe, IFPMA, ICC, the Alliance for Clean Technology Innovation, and Interpat; and
  • Non-governmental organizations such as SARIMA, the Center for Global Enterprise, the Innovation Hub in South Africa, Inovent in Turkey, ICIPC in Colombia, Startup Africa, Cyber Readiness Institute, Villgro Africa, and the Geneva Impact Hub.

This varied network of clients is a major strength of Innovation Insights. It enables our team to track myriad policy discussions – across sectors, forums, and countries – and to constantly access different perspectives and experiences.

Alongside paid work for clients, we are deeply committed to pro bono policy advisory work

WHO WE ARE

We work within a global network of seasoned communicators and policy advocates, with presence in Switzerland, Singapore, the UK, Belgium, the United States, and South Africa. Our geographic reach enables us to have a finger on the pulse of policymaking across regions.
